Camp LuLu is a summer camp for young girls going into 3rd and 4th grade. The camp is 4 days and 3 nights and the days are filled with activities. Camp LuLu is JULY 24th – 27th, 2016.
Founder
Liz Medley was born and raised in Taylorsville, Indiana. Liz has been in the beauty industry since 2002 and knows first hand there is a lot of room for improvement in the self esteem of our female youth. “Young ladies need to know their worth, learn leadership skills, and most importantly love themselves for who they are.” The beauty industry has taught Liz so much more than what is visible on the outside. The beauty Industry has given her a platform, and financial freedom to make a difference in the future of our female youth.
Director
Stacy (Noble) Findley was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana. She ran track and played basketball for Columbus North High School. She graduated from Columbus North High School in 2001 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2005. While in college Stacy worked as a nanny and as a teacher at KinderCare Learning Center. Upon graduation Stacy received Human Resource Certification from IUPUI in 2006. Her career has included work at a foster care agency and a child abuse prevention program. Stacy is currently employed with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation as the Director of Family School Partners, a non- profit agency. Stacy serves as chairperson for a Family Engagement Committee through Columbus Youth Development, is a member of the Columbus Early Learning Coalition, Literacy Task Force, and Latino Education Group. Stacy’s passion for non-profits, strengthening families, and education keeps her involved in the community. Stacy has 3 children: Palik (7), Walter (3), and Nixie (9 months). Stacy is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and teaches Sunday school in the preschool class. Stacy enjoys reading, traveling, painting, walking, and spending time with her family. Stacy is a sports enthusiast and loves watching IU Basketball.

History
Camp LuLu was founded in 2016 by Liz Medley and with the help and knowledge from Stacy Noble-Findley Camp LuLu was put into action. The first girls Summer Camp will be July 2016 and will have 15 third and fourth grade girls. Liz Medley loved summer camp as a young girl and knew it was a privilege the summers she attended and loved how independent she left feeling. She founded Camp LuLu because she felt strongly that this could make a life long impact on girls and their communities.
